"Complete" Community Care

Project Managers from Meyer Complete, with the help of several subcontractors and a local church, have been working on a home makeover for the Butler family from Raytown, MO. Todd Merriott and Josh Ward spearheaded an effort to assist the Butlers, a family of 8, to create more living space in their small home. Two new bedrooms and a bathroom were constructed in their basement. Prior to this, their 13-year old niece had been sleeping on the couch. Their home was also in need of more electrical capacity for the number of people using appliances and lights in the home.

Paragon Electric stepped in to upgrade the electrical service to the entire home and provide lighting for the new bedrooms and bathroom. Floorworks and T.E. Woods Homes donated all the carpet, tile, and labor to install the flooring. Duranotic Door provided the doors. Superior Cutting cut the trench for the shower drain. Sherwin Williams donated all the paint, tape, and plastic. Meyer Companies donated $1,000 and most of the labor. Birchwood Church donated $1,000 and labor for the plumbing. The family is thrilled to be receiving such a practical and valuable gift. Many thanks go to all who have participated in this worthy project.
